Nine Below Zero
Nine Below Zero 50th anniversary is being celebrated with a year-long tour.
Get ready for a night of high-octane, maximum Rhythm and Blues as the legendary Nine Below Zero take the stage with their powerhouse full band lineup! Formed in South London amid the punk explosion of 1977, Nine Below Zero carved out their own unique path with a fiery, no-frills, punchy approach to classic UK R&B. They burst onto the mainstream with their explosive 1980 debut album Live at the Marquee, cementing their reputation as one of the most thrilling and energetic live acts in the country. Over nearly five decades, they have shared stages with rock royalty like The Who, The Kinks, Eric Clapton, and Chuck Berry, and famously performed on the very first episode of the anarchic comedy hit The Young Ones. For this spectacular full band show, founding members Dennis Greaves (guitar and lead vocals) and Mark Feltham (the UK's premier session harmonica player) are joined by an elite rhythm and backing section. The engine room features Dennis's son Sonny Greaves delivering driving beats on drums, alongside Grammy-winning bassist Anthony Harty locking down the groove. Expect a non-stop, thrill-a-minute party packed with blistering harmonica solos, dual-guitar grooves, and the raw, big-band energy that has made them a true UK music institution. Don't miss your chance to see these blues masters firing on all cylinders!
